Things to Include in a Performance Review Template

Today, you have to make sure that your business is doing well in its overall performance, especially when it comes to your workers. In a business, the workers' performance is the indicator of the company's growth. If the workers are productive and are performing well, then your company is most likely doing well. And if the employees' performance is poor, then the company's performance is also poor.

This is the reason why a lot of businessmen employ a performance evaluation system for all their employees. This is the system in which the employees' performance is evaluated at a certain time period.

To properly administer this system, you will need an effective performance review template. And you need to include several things for it to e effective. Here are some of the things that you should include in the performance review template.

o One of the most important things that you need to include in your template is the objectives. This will make it clear to everybody concern why the review is being done, especially to the employees. Some employees might feel a bit nervous but you have to let them know that this is for their own-and your company's-good.
o It is equally important to include the directions. Clearly state how the evaluators should rate the variables in the template. Should they check specific boxes or should they rate each variable from 1 to 5, 1 as the highest and 5 as the lowest?

o Finally, include several quantifiable variables that can measure a person's performance such as leadership skills, communication skills, time management, and so on.
